Will my insulin be protected from heat?
Type Strong insulin pouches are constructed from neoprene which is an insulating material and will help to protect your insulin from direct sunlight and harmful UV rays.
However, we recommend putting your insulin in a cooler if the ambient temperature is greater than 30°C - as recommended by the insulin manufacturers.
Will my insulin be protected from drops?
The pouch provides decent protection against accidental drops and impacts to your insulin pens.
As always, it is best to take care of your insulin pens to prevent drops & impacts where possible.
Do we have more colours planned for the future?
We sure do! The black pouch is our first release and we are planning on releasing more colours in the future - similar to our patch range.
